Richard E. Haskell, Sr. is the founder and CEO of Signature Management, LLC and serves as the Senior Economist for Signature Update, Signature Economic Advisors and Signature Wealth Management; the Signature Management group of companies. He is the author of Personal Economy, Signature Update's weekly Economic and Market Commentary and Today's Money Tools' consumer finance tips. He is also associated with the University of Utah's Graduate School of Economics.

Haskell earned a BS from Brigham Young University in Family Financial Planning and Counseling and subsequently began his professional career with Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1984. After being promoted to Vice President and relocating with the firm to New York in 1987, he managed various corporate and branch operations in New York and Texas. In 1989 he moved his family back to Utah, and later began his graduate studies and research in economics, before forming Signature Management.

Haskell, his wife Leslie, and most of their children and grandchildren are at home in Utah, where they're active in their church, community, business and academia. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Itineris Early College High School (a charter school under the Utah Department of Education), and is a member of the Board of Directors of Salt Lake American Diversity (a Utah based charitable foundation promoting cultural diversity). He is a three-time recipient of the Outstanding Young Men of American Award and is currently listed in Who's Who in American Business.
